LABORATORY SERIES. No.02. Nikola Tesla’s Colorado Springs Laboratory. Publicity photograph of Tesla reading next to the ‘Magnifying Transmitter.’ The Colorado Springs lab was built in 1899 at Pikes Peak after Tesla concluded it was possible to transmit electrical power without wires at high altitudes.
